and delivered to my Mom.
Due to thickness & ease of care both my Mom & sister love Kroy’s far more than Malabrigio & I much prefer cranking out socks when using super quick Kroy.
These are Cameo Colors Kroy Fx.

The crazier things get with the closing on our new house the more I appreciate the calming power of knitting.
Why do some people treat their customers shabbily? Why-why-why don’t some people do good work? I hope it is b/c they are not able, but I really think it is b/c some people are mean & [...]

In spite of two visits to FS’ favorite climbing gym, BD’s Mongolian BBQ, a visit to the Museum of Model Aeronautics in Muncie & a fabulous FREE dinner for five at Houlihan’s I managed to almost finish this sock:
Love that Houlihan’s for making doing good things so much fun!
If all of this wasn’t enough fun, [...]

On Weds I picked up my favorite son at school, he ate and changed in the car while I drove him to practice - tossing his school uniform, shoes, backpack and who-knows-what-else in the back seat.
During practice I knit, talked to my mom and listened to the news…ahh.
We came home and dragged uniforms, socks, cleats, [...]

Colonial House is incredible. Srsly, I can’t recommend it enough. An earthy, practical, thought provoking opportunity to see our peers participate in actual time travel to the 1600’s…what an amazing experiment!
To be a part of our own culture we watched “Survivor” once, which we found more than enough, and we have watched “Big Brother” while [...]

Last weekend we returned from rainy & cold FLA, where we enjoyed a relaxing and stormy Spring Break.
Upon our return our held mail was delivered. Of course I did not sort thru it for a few days - due to laundry, unpacking, colds & the desperate need for sleep. When I finally did I discovered [...]

Done!
But, look:
There are a few short spots in the yarn (Cherry Tree Hill - Twilight), which were undyed!
My optimistic hope is that when I wash them the dye will run the teensy tiniest bit & color these few stitches of white. As “someone” would say…that is overly excessively excessive.
Or I will have to remember to [...]

Started new sock from stashed yarn:
2mm Brittany birch needles
cast on 56
The colors are spectacular! Deep & rich.
Want to finish Brotherly Socks, but as I did an anatomical sock I need a bit of uninterrupted time to do the mirror image for the right toe decrease.

Ordered this Cherry Tree Hill sock yarn on Fri night after finding DBNY in Ravelry.
I can’t wait to get my order!
Worked on the Brotherly Sock in the FREEZING foyer area (our ski place was at capacity) of the lodge while the boys went snowboarding & skiing. My hands were so cold knitting on 2mm metal [...]

Another pair of Ravelympic socks? Maybe.
I wanted so much to see how the yarn I got yesterday would knit up!
While casting on the yarn seemed too splitty, thin & not spun tightly enough (the opposite of CTH), but what else did I have to do with my hands while marvelling at those amazing Olympians? 1/100th [...]
