We are on Spring Break in Fla.
Today is rainy, so we drove to Destin and while they went to a surf shop I returned to Unwind, a super small shop. In spite of the very limited selection of yarn and extremely limited selection of sock yarn (other than Tofusties), I was able to find two [...]

Done!
But, look:
There are a few short spots in the yarn (Cherry Tree Hill - Twilight), which were undyed!
My optimistic hope is that when I wash them the dye will run the teensy tiniest bit & color these few stitches of white. As “someone” would say…that is overly excessively excessive.

Finished in 19 days! Compared with for-ever for his Lana Grossa Meilenweit socks. But, these are ankle socks, not crew.
For the Lana Grossa socks I used Cat Borhi’s Simple Sock in three sizes; these are the Harlot’s Basic Recipe. I love love love turning heels with the Harlot’s plan: knit half of the stitches and [...]

While on the pattern tab at Ravelry I clicked Home (as in for the home) & this virtually popped off of the hook! I just picked up what was nearby (read…piled around the bedroom sofa), so it is not exactly as attractive as it is useful.
Click for pattern.

Ravelry hooked me up with Tea’s Sweet Violet Dishcloth, which I made in no time with what I had upstairs: a Clover H hook & bits of yellow and bright pink Lily cotton.
Initially I worked it with a Clover J, but the fabric it yielded was too open, so I frogged it & reworked it [...]
