One Nice Green Leaf

The ham I made on Christmas was wrapped in the most beautiful royal purple foil. There were golden & silver foil strings holding the tag. So pretty!
Too bad the ham inside was not as beautiful. Yuck! Why why did I slavishly put the premixed packet of powder on top of it & bake? (Maybe it [...]

I love footies. And ankle socks. In fact, people who do not have a size 5 foot should probably just wear anklets. Male, female, summer, winter.
So, [...]

How is it possible to knit a pair of roughly woman’s size 8 (39) socks from 262 yards (240m)? It is a puzzlement.
What if you knit the socks AND have a good amount left over? It is a mystery!
I don’t know how, but it happened.
2.5mm Clover needles. Cast on 56. They fit like a glove.

I [...]
